Enrich Academic Experiences

 

Target Students

Medical professionals, sports scientists and sports enthusiasts, including Medical doctors, Physiotherapists & occupational therapists, Prosthetists & Orthotists, Nurses, Sports scientists, Coaches and fitness trainers, Physical education teachers, Chinese medicine practitioners, Allied health and fitness professionals

Study Mode & Study Period

  • Full time: 1 year

  • Part-time: 2 years

Teaching Format

  • Lectures, case studies, practical workshops, practicum, site visits, clinical attachments, International conferences, seminars, demonstrations, group discussions, tutorials and projects

Medium of instruction

  • Classes are conducted in English and supplemented by Cantonese and/or Mandarin

Graduation Requirements

Students should fulfill the following requirements in order to graduate:

  • Complete the necessary course requirements with a GPA 2.0 or above; and

  • Attend not less than 75% of each course

Tuition Fee

  • 2023 Sep Intake: HK$193,000   (Tuition fee is settled in two installments per year)

  • The programme is on the course list of Extended Non-Means-Tested Loan Scheme(ENLS) (Course code:  B00020058).Students are able to apply for financial assistance from the Student Finance Office, Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency, HKGSAR  (Please click here for more information)

Class Venue

  • Classes will be held in Prince of Wales Hospital, Shatin, occasionally in The Chinese University of Hong Kong campus.

Class Schedule

  • Classes are held in weekday evenings and weekend.

Full-time
Study Mode

Term 1 (Sep - Jan) & Term 2 (Jan - Jun)

  • Compulsory subjects: Classes are held on Tuesday & Thursday evenings (6:30-9:30 pm) and Saturday afternoons (2:30-5:30 pm).
     

  • Elective: Timetables vary from course to course. Classes will be held on Monday / Wednesday / Friday evenings (6:30-9:30 pm), or weekend afternoons (2:30-5:30 pm).

Throughout study period (1 year)

  • Students are required to attend sports-medicine & health sciences related conferences/workshops on occasional weekdays and weekends throughout the study period.

Part-time
Study Mode

​First Year - Term 1 (Sep - Jan) & Term 2 (Jan - Jun)

  • Students study compulsory subjects in the first year. Classes are held on Tuesday & Thursday evenings (6:30-9:30 pm) and Saturday afternoons (2:30-5:30 pm).

 

Second Year - (Sep - Jun)

  • Students take an elective in their second of attendance.

  • Timetables vary from course to course. Classes will be held on Monday / Wednesday / Friday evenings (6:30-9:30 pm), or weekend afternoons (2:30-5:30 pm).

Throughout study period (2 years)

  • Students are required to attend sports-medicine & health sciences related conferences/workshops on occasional weekdays and weekends throughout the study period.
