Team Physician Course

The Team Physician Course, organized by Sports Medicine and Sports Science Association of Hong Kong, China (HKASMSS) and CUHK Sports Medicine Team, will be held on 29 & 30 August 2026, in CUHK Intelligent Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Centre.

This 2-day program comprises of both stimulating lectures on the management of different acute sports injuries and acute medical condition as well as practical hands-on workshop on the on-field management and physical examinations, with the aim to equip doctors and physiotherapists with the state-of-the-art knowledge and essential skills for on-field medical support.

Date:            29 & 30 August 2026 (Sat & Sun)

Time:            9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Venue:          CUHK Intelligent Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Centre

                   (Units ABNP, 21/F, Kings Wing Plaza 1, 3 On Kwan Street, Shek Mun, Shatin, N.T.)

Course fee:    HK$5,600

 

Special discount for: 

  • HKPA or HKASMSS Members: HK$4,800; 

  • CUHK MScSMHS Alumni or Students: HK$3,000

*An administration fee of HK$500 will be charged for any withdrawal request.

Entry Requirement:

Applicants must be a registered medical doctor or physiotherapist in Hong Kong.

  • Pre-Participation Screening and Pre-Season Optimisation

  • Travelling with the Team (Logistics and Preparation)

  • Special Populations and Nutrition

  • Medical Conditions in Sport

  • Field Side Assessment and Emergencies

  • Emergency Skills Workshop

  • Rehabilitation and Return To Play

  • Fair-Play and Anti-Doping
